Some Background
I initially trained and practiced as a sculptor, graduating from Norwich School of Art in 1989. As an art student in the 80's I was profoundly influenced by the works of Eva Hesse and Louise Bourgeois as well as the more overtly feminist works of Helen Chadwick, Judy Chicago, Barbara Kruger and Jenny Holzer.
When the 90's kicked in I was involved in the artist-led activity that was active in and around the East End of London, which created important opportunities for larger-scale installation and experimentation, discussion and collaboration.
After 25 years of living in London I moved with the family to the idyllic South Downs countryside,….…and got a dog.
